Purpose: The purpose is to provide another review format to help prepare for the exams. It also offers a chapter on test-taking strategies and developing a student plan. The ebook allows readers to access the book in multiple locations. Providing information in a variety of ways is imperative to reaching learners with a variety of learning styles.
Audience: The audience is pediatric primary care nurse practitioner students. Students are able to use the book as a review prior to taking the certification exam. Pediatric nurse practitioners working in primary care may find the book useful as a review of specific topics.
Features: The book is separated into chapters on disorders affecting body systems with additional chapters on specific pediatric topics, such as growth and development. Most chapters include an overview of the common disorders affecting that body system.
