The 3rd book in the Ære series is yet another winner. This fast paced exciting read contains action, mental and physical strife, humour, love, beauty and a twist in the tale. Elsa's loving peaceful spirit shines in this book, as does the strength of character and protective nature of Force. Their dance around their attraction for one another is captivating. These two characters have a beauty about them that you cannot help but love. The rest of the Norse crew are as quirky and appealing as ever and always manage to bring a smile to my face. I look forward to what the next book will bring. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review - Sanne / Scandalous Book Blog*** “Become what you believe.” Elsa Fredriksen, Asgards High Healer, future Unifier and the sister of the God of War. Forse, “God of Justice”, closed up for love and and all around hottie. They are utterly and irrevocably in love with each other but Forse’s past is keeping them from going further than a close knit friendship. Throw in some ghosts from the past, an ex-girlfriend jacked up on supernatural steroids and a battle to end all battles and you’ll get an action packed story with lots of lingering love. S.T. Bende can write a kickass heroine like nobodies business and God’s that’ll rock your world. Forse, he sure is a force to be reckoned with... Hot damn! Intelligent, intense and oh so schmexy. This one is my favorite of the series after the first book Perfekt Order.

I want to thank ST Bende for creating her Realms. I cannot wait to read what is the next book in the series. What an adventure she has taken us on. The action and adventure makes this a book I could not put down. Elsa has a warriors heart but the compassion and goodness that literally shine out with every word you read. I love all of ST Bende's books and this one finally brought home to me one of the many reasons her characters are so real to me, the love and caring they show to one another makes us all wish, hope and dream that we too can surround ourselves with the same. The pureness of heart and spirit are clearly apparent. I wnt ot live in the world created by ST Bende, although there are bad and negative things and people the good and just rightness of it outweigh the bad. I love the twists found in the book, family found in the least expected place. Hope given where you you never believe it could be found. One final thing, the book boyfriends she has created are swoon worthy, the female's in her books are strong yet kind and pretty darn amazing. This book will remain one of my favorites and is already on my read again and again list.

"I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review." I love this book, this series, and ABSOLUTELY love this author!!! This part of the series features Forse the God of Justice and Elsa a High Healer and God of War's sister. Elsa is such a sweetie, you can't help but love her. Her heart is so good, there's a reason she's a high healer. In fact, she's so great that I was quite frustrated with Forse for being so blind and stubborn by friend-zoning her. Forse, Tyr, and Brynn just do not let her down in this book, and not to mention all the background we learn! I can't wait for book number 4!!!!! One of the things I love is this book contained more action(fighting against the dark forces in the realms) then the others in the Aere Saga and makes you understand why things happened the way they did with Tyr and Elsa's parents and the way they are today!

Slipping back into the world Bende has created is like slipping into your favorite pajamas! It is right where you want to be! I dove headfirst back into the world that blends what I know with a new Asgardian reality, a world that couples reality with mythology brilliantly. I was so excited to read Perfekt Balance, knowing I would finally see more of Elsa and Forse. These two are obviously the best of friends and the attraction cannot be denied. Getting to see them work through their feelings and all the danger hurled their way is an adventure readers will love! As with all of Bende’s books in the Ære Saga, the reader is thrust into a world of danger and adrenaline. I love how there is a love story but there is so much more. There are overarching themes that carry throughout the series and a story of strength, devotion, friendship, and honor that allows the reader to admire these characters and their choices. Elsa is such a sweet character. It was great to see her step up and become a strong female lead. In the past she was always a target and while that is still the case here, in this book, we get to see her strength and determination to save those she loves. She is a heroine that still carries a vulnerability. She is kind and wants to do what is right, looking for the good in those around her, even those who are labeled as unsalvageable. Her heroism is different. It is subtle and sacrificing. That combined with her genuine heart and sweet spirit, let’s just say you have a heroine that will make you smile. Forse is the protector and his determination to save Elsa is both admirable and self-serving. His true emotions come to light in this story and it creates a sweet love story. I loved how Forse, Tyr, and Brynn band together to save Elsa and fight the evil in their path. Many new clues are discovered about impending moments in the future and I am excited to see what direction this series is headed in. The secrets unfolded are shocking and the illusion to what is coming is both ominous and exciting! I cannot wait to read the next book! Each book keeps getting better and better. I loved seeing the happily ever afters of all the characters we have met; a perk from a series that focuses closely on people who live, breathe, and would die for each other. It allows us to see the natural progression of their stories and enjoy more of our favorites. The third book in the Ære Saga is exactly what readers wanted and expected. I cannot wait for more!

This was another great book in the Aere Saga! We first met Elsa in the first book, Perfekt Order. I liked Elsa from the very start, and after reading Perfekt Balance, I like her even more now. She has such a sweet, kind spirit and cares deeply about others. She often puts their well-being above her own. I thought that was quite admirable! The more I was in Elsa's head, the more I examined my own self and how I view the world around me. Elsa has challenged me to be a better person and to look at the relationships I have with other people in a new light. Forse was another character I really liked. Even though he is the god of justice, and spends much of his time settling disputes and whatnot, he's also a fierce warrior when he has to be. I really liked him and I cannot wait to learn more about him in the upcoming books. I am so happy that we also got to see more of Brynn and Henrik! They're so fun and so stinking cute. I got a few chuckles at the way they interacted with each other. In Perfekt Balance we meet a new character, and learn a few things that surprised me. Elsa discovers a lot of new things about herself, and her capabilities. One of the things that I especially liked in Perfekt Balance, was that we got to see a softer side of Tyr. I love the relationship that he has with his sister and how much he looks out for her. I am really looking forward to the next adventure. From what I understand, it will be told from Brynn's point-of-view, and she is my favorite character in this series!

In Perfekt Balance, we follow Elsa and Forse's story. Elsa struggles to learn her Unifier abilities, which would be fine if she wasn't needed to help apprehend one of Asgard's most wanted. Forse, Norse God of Justice and the love of Elsa's life, is by her side through it all, until the mission goes wrong and she's kidnapped. Now she needs to learn how to truly be Asgard's Unifier if she wants to save herself and her loved ones. I have been looking forward to reading Elsa and Forse's story we first met them in the first book, Perfekt Order. I really liked learning more about what a Unifier's role is in the grand scheme of things. And I absolutely loved all the little hints of events to come in future books. My favorite part of course was the love story. Elsa and Forse really are the perfekt balance to each other. Then we even have some surprise revelations about Tyr and his biological family, which were completely unexpected. We are getting closer and closer to overlapping with the Elsker Saga, which I'm very excited about, and we see that in the hints I mentioned before. This addition to the Aere Saga was so exciting and just gave me all the feels. And that ending, on my goodness, Forse! I loved it all! Elsa is Asgard's High Healer and interim Unifier until Mia can be trained in the role. She is more proficient as a Healer and has no clue as to how to be a Unifier. She's just kind of winging it. Elsa is this very spiritual and peaceful person, but in Perfekt Balance we see that she can be just as fierce as any of our Norse Crew. She loves with her whole heart and will do what needs to be done to protect those she loves. Elsa and Forse practically share one heart, as they beat in time with each other. But Forse hold a lot of guilt over his role in her parent's deaths, and that keeps him from completely opening his heart to her. I really just want to give Forse to biggest hug. I'm extremely happy that these two finally get their happy ever after. Forsa forever! S.T. Bende has created, once again, a beautiful story that I couldn't help but fall in love with. Her Norse Crews are made up of honorable and loveable characters that you never want to leave. The way that she weaves her tales of Norse Mythology with this contemporary world leaves readers captivated well beyond the last page. Perfekt Balance is the perfekt addition to the Aere Saga and I'm extremely looking forward to continuing this series. Next year is too long to wait for the next book!

Perfekt Balance, the third book in the awesome Ære series, centers on Elsa and Forse. Each book in the series focuses on one particular couple but the other members of the group are featured throughout. I love that we get to see the characters in each book and learn more about them. These Asgardians are all really awesome! Elsa is Asgard's High Healer and sister to the War God Tyr. She was recently asked to become the Unifier, a role their mother held before she had been killed, but Elsa doesn’t really want the job. As High Healer, Elsa focuses her emotions to help others and tries not to use violence in any way. She is sweet, caring, smart, funny and dedicated to her friends and family. She is also completely and totally in love with Forse. Forse is the God of Justice, a member of their group of Asgardians and a long-time friend of Try and Elsa. He is emotionally guarded, having been burned by an old girlfriend, which makes him fight his feelings for Elsa. He is strong, level-headed, sexy, stubborn and a God. Tyr recruits Elsa, his bodyguard/Valkyrie Brynn and Forse, to help him track down a killer in another realm. Things do not go as smoothly as they had planned and Elsa is captured. Elsa is faced with trying to escape, help her friends out of several tough situations and learn to use her Unifier abilities. This was a great story-line with a right amount of humor, suspense, action and romance. S.T. Bende has written another great book! I cannot wait to read the next one in the series.

I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I had been waiting for this story since I was first introduced to Elsa and Forse and I have to admit that I was not disappointed in the least! This book grips you from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the very end and has you cheering the whole way through. If you have not read any of S.T. Bende’s books then I would suggest starting now, because they are amazing and I already can’t wait for the next release 

This is such a fun series, full of Norse mythology, friendship, adventure, danger, and sweet romance. 'Perfekt Balance' is the third book in the Aere Saga, finally featuring Tyr's sister, Elsa, and the hot god of Justice, Forse. It was so great to finally dive into their story. Elsa is such a sweetie, you can't help but love her. Her heart is so good, there's a reason she's a high healer. In fact, she's so great that I was quite frustrated with Forse for being so blind and stubborn by friend-zoning her. It was about time we got to the bottom of whatever was going on inside him so he could get his head out of whatever crevice it was hiding in. Though honestly, I wanted Elsa to give him more of a push. Her patience was never-ending. I guess Forse needed it. But I wanted her to goddess up and give him a bit of a kick in the right direction. Thankfully, her patience paid off. Forse is the god of Justice for a reason. He's a genuinely good guy, plus he's super hot, and treats Elsa with the utmost care. Once he gets past his issues, he's a force to be reckoned with. But Forse was such a great guy, so I fully understand why Elsa was in love with him forever. Though, on a side note, during the storyline we meet one of Forse's exes. Honestly, I never really got why Forse and Rena were together. I was a bit confused because the match didn't make sense, but this line of thinking seemed to be glossed over as just Forse being a nice guy. It felt like Forse and Elsa should have always been the perfekt match. One great thing about this story was watching Elsa come into so much more of her powers. She was already well accomplished in healing, but there was so much more she needed to tap into. She really had to figure out who she was practically on her own, and that was refreshing to see how strong her character was. She went against the violent grain and was able to use her strengths in a peaceful yet forceful fashion. I really liked that about her. The action of the story was certainly intense. Honestly, it was nearly non-stop. There was hardly time to catch my breath. While there always seem to be forces of evil fighting against our heroes, this storyline had a bit of a twist on the usual good/bad power struggle. I thought this was a nice change, especially taking Elsa's character into account. Plus, there were a few really great twists in there, amping up my curiosity for future books. I loved seeing the other characters we've gotten to know and love. I did, however, want more of everyone else. We spend a lot of time with Elsa, and I found myself missing evryone else when the gaps got too long. But it was definitely great seeing Tyr and Elsa's relationship, their insights into each other, and the great bond they shared. There were some really funny scenes between Tyr, Forse, and Elsa. I would catch myself grinning like a fool. The ending was super, duper sweet. But I wanted more in the end betweeen Forse and Elsa. More time, that is. More pages and chapters of just them happy together. Don't get me wrong. What did happen between them was perfekt. I just wanted some more time with them before it ended. So much other friend-zoning and action happened during the story that I wanted the sweetness in the end to last a bit longer. This is a fantastic series. I can't wait for the next story. I have my heart set on what I want to happen. Let's see if I'm right, or if I'm even in the ballpark...

What another amazing story added to the Aere Saga! I simply adored Forsa! I've been dying to know their story from the moment I first read about them. They're truly a perfekt balance for each other! This was fast paced (not too fast though), full of action and romance! The way ST Bende writes and describes things is amazing! I can picture it in my head as I read. The story captivated me from the first page until the very end! I loved seeing the camaraderie of the whole gang and how well they all work and enjoy their time together. I can't wait for book 4, Perfekt Match, is released!

Each book ST writes just gets better and better. This book will hit you in the feels like never before. Elsa is so caring and willing to believe everyone has something good inside of them. That maybe they can be saved or redeem themselves. I strikes a cord - she is the kinda person we all wish to be. She goes through so much in this book to come out the other side almost better than before is crazy - but she does it. Forse is so protective and stoic that you want him to win. His connection and emotional ties to Elsa is so powerful it makes you root for them. This book is nothing shot of amazing. I cannot wait for book 4 - they just keep getting better.

S. T. Bende has come so far with her writing. i fell in love with this book from the start, there is so many emotions going on that you really feel like your in the book as one of the characters, Elsa has by far become my favorite character in this series and this book really eclipses her personality. Her relationship with a certain god ends up being one of the best things.

S.T. Bende gave us another outstanding story in the book, Perfekt Balance, Aere Saga Book 3. In this story we learn more about the high-healer of Asgard, Elsa and her long time crush the God of Justice – Forse. As their story unfolds we experience, dangerous adventure, nail-biting fights, heartbreaking torture, healings, and much more. I was on my seat the whole book. Elsa is full of light and love and is so kind hearted. In her story she grows so much and as a reader you feel yourself growing alongside of her. Forse is everything you would picture the God of Justice to be but has some surprising struggles he needs to work though. My heart was breaking at the guilt he was feeling on something he really wasn’t involved in. I enjoyed the growth of Elsa and Forse relationship and how much they had to go through to become stronger as individuals and together. I was touch with the feelings of family and how much it means to these characters and what their definition of a family is . Family and its love is such a strong bond not only in stories but in our lives. It’s something to treasure always. I highly recommend Perfekt Balance by S.T. Bende.

Mama's Thoughts: Holy ko, this was so much fun! While the action wasn't as all encompassing this time, it was by no means missing. Many of the scenes that were most intense were inside Elsa's mind, or Tyr's, and of course there were many instances where I couldn't guess what Runa would do next but I wasn't even sure I wanted to find out, so horrid was her disturbed soul. Or so I thought... I would have loved to spend more time getting to know Elsa and Forse before this book, but what we do know we learn naturally, it isn't forced upon us in a contrived way, but rather brought about through memories and conversations they share. I really appreciated S.t. Bende's way of allowing us to find out more about the overall Aere story while still engaging us with each couple as we go along. It's got to be completely confusing to keep such a huge story arc straight while also writing individual journeys. I'm convinced Bende's some sort of word ninja, secretly putting together her books while no one is the wiser to her shenanigans. They're so emotionally satisfying, even when I'm left wishing I had more to read, I never regret the time already spent doing so. I'm absolutely ecstatic there will be two more to go, I could spend all year with this crew!

S.T Bende has done it YET again .. in this 3rd instalment from the Aere Saga i fell in love with Elsa and Forse . Elsa is so relate able, down to earth and could do anything she sets her heart to . she just has to have the confidence to believe in herself the way Forse believes in her . Elsa's own doubts about her abilities is what drew me to her and made her more real to me than any of S.T characters . i genuinely felt a REAL connection to Elsa. we all go through times of doubt, self conciousness and in this book you get to feel all those emotions plus those of LOVE empowerment, and at times pity for the bad guys . Forse is certainly someone not to mess with he will go to the ends of Midgard and the outer realms to help and save Elsa even if at times from himself .his loyalty ,friendship and most of all his love for Elsa are what make him the man he is. he is strong, encouraging, and he will stp at nothing untill he gets JUSTICE for past crimes that he somehow feels he is responsible for .. overall this has to be my FAVOURITE book by S.T.Bende . lots of laugh out loud moments, tears,it even at times had me on the edges of my seat wrecked with nerves as to what was to come next ...i simply could not put this down and devoured the book in one sitting .

I have loved everything S.t. has written. She never ceases to amaze me and always leaves me in awe of her imagination. She melts my heart everytime for those of us who still believe in good old fashioned romance, Norse style too! I absolutely loved Elsa and Forse! Elsa is the High Healer and until she trains Mia, she's also Interim Unifier. Except Elsa doesn't know how she's going to train Mia when she doesn't have the hang of it herself. Forse, God of Justice, has a sweet spot for Elsa, as she does for him, but something is always causing him to put on the brakes. Could it have something to do with his dangerous ex girlfriend, Runa, who is on the loose? Its up to Tyr, Brynn, Elsa and Force to capture her and bring her in. This is a very tricky and dangerous mission for everyone, especially when Elsa is taken hostage.

I have decided that S.T. stands for Super Talented and that the author is secretly the scribe for Norse goddess of love Freya, because she makes me fall in love with her strong and quirky characters, her visualization of various realms, her can't-put-the-book-down action, and her precise-and-eloquently-composed writing style. Most of all I love how she depicts love! In this book, I mean this in the sense that the romance between god of Justice, Forse, and High Healer, Elsa, is too cute. The dance between hesitation and moments of intense interest made me want to lock them both in a tower til they just accepted their Happily Ever After already! Because boy do they deserve it after the physical and mental turmoil they go through in the fast-paced adventure in this book with dark realms, poison, kidnapping, fighting, and facing those who'd betrayed them. I also mean love in the sense that the characters themselves have so much love and compassion for others, I am both humbled and inspired. Reading through Elsa's eyes gives an in depth view into how the use of energy and spirits to heal, support, and empower her friends and family. She even sees the good in her enemies. It is clear ST Bende did a lot of research to accurately depict Elsa's holistic and spiritual world, because I learned a lot and felt like I grew as a person; I highlighted several quotes as reminders and motivators to be a more positive, peaceful, content, and generous person. Forse is also a force to be reckoned with when he's protecting those he loves, but his is through action and swoon-worthy heroic defense that Perfektly Balances with Elsa. And let me just say that if that optimism, triumph and romance doesn't get you smiling like a goober, the quirk and humor of various characters in this Norse crew will. Another outstanding YA adventure through Norse mythology in the Aere saga. I cannot wait to see if the next one can trump this one

May the Forse be with you!!!!! This is Forse the God of Justice and Elsa's story, as they travel thru the realms on a great adventure, with the God of war and a certain Valkaryie, Brynn in tow. Elsa cracked me up thru out the whole book, she is so in love with Forse and he just isn't having it. Elsa already a healer has become the new Unifier after the death of her mother is really stuggling to learn to do this and doesn't read her mothers journals which explain things until after she is kidnapped by Runa, who also happens to be Forse's exgirlfriend. I highly recommend!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next book!!!!!

This book is a very interesting love and adventure story. It has enough fights to satisfy people who enjoy battle scenes, and beautiful romance sections that make your heart melt. And of course unexpected twists in different parts of the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it for other readers as well.

With each book in the Aere Saga, S.t. Bende has managed to seamlessly continue a storyline through multiple points of view. Each time a new book comes out I think there's no way she will be able to top the last book, and each time I am deleriously happy to be proven wrong. Perfekt Balance was no exception! Not only was the love story between Elsa and Forse swoon worthy, but the twists to the overall plot line knocked this book out of the ballpark in ways I never saw coming! I'm absolutely on pins and needles waiting to read the next book!

ST Bende delivers on the romance as always and you get to hear the full story of two characters you’d only been briefly introduced to before – Elsa and Forse (God of Justice). As we’ve all come to love and expect their love story has its up and downs and wonderful surprises. She is a master at writing romance with a Norse god mythology twist. This book however is a lot darker than the others in the series with some rather graphic scenes I didn’t like. I’m a big fan of ST Bende’s books, I love her humor and the usual over the top fight scenes that are more based on action and witty banter than actual gory details. This one however got a little too realistic for me. If you’re very sensitive you might not enjoy this one, if you aren’t, then you’ll find the roller coaster romance we’ve all come to love from ST Bende. Just so you know, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
