PETER was the first one to do all the major events that are to be common to all believers.
Peter preached the first sermon, healed the first sick person, testified in court, laid hands on new believers, lead gentiles to Christ, water baptized gentiles, raised the dead to life and dramatically got the Church of Jesus Christ birthed.
Peter is our first example of a man who tapped into the power of God and walked in that power wherever he went. Peter continued to be the disciple that was the trail blazer in the early church. Peter was also used by God to begin the transition from the Old Testament to the New Testament for Jewish believers.
