First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but it in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Wow, this story was so good. Not quite your typical alien love story. This had a lot going on in it. Lots of danger, a controlling US commander, a psycho cyborg killer, a funny crazy AI, and two people fighting their attraction to each other. I recommend this read 5 Thumbs up

She is a matchmaker but she is surprised when she has to be a matchmaker for an alien race. They meet her and one clashes with her. It seems they may be the one for each other but it will not be so easy. Will she find mates for the others? What will they do? See what will happen between them I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I found this to be an enjoyable read. It is well written and the characters interesting. Mitzi our matchmaker is tasked with finding six brides. Captain Jax is on earth to find brides (soul mates) for his men as their females have become unable to bare children. Neither Cap Jax nor Mitzi had planned to find their soul mate in each other. Great Read with lots of action. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

The Talzorians are in need of compatible females to mate with as their own woman are infertile. After rescuing some stranded astronauts on a malfunctioning space station, Captain Jax is in negotiations for six human brides for his crew. And he has chosen matchmaker extraordinaire Mitzi Selig to oversee the vetting and selection of choices. Mitzi is a strong and brilliant woman, and she has a knack for matching her clients with their perfect partners. But what about the handsome Captain who refuses a match but ends up in a soul mate bond with Mitzi? And the relentless bounty hunter in pursuit of Jax? Oh yes, lots of thrills and romance to indulge in. An excellent read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The first book in the Shalhiari Space Chronicles series and I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Jax, captain of the Talzor starship and Mitzi a professional matchmaker's story. I found myself smiling at some of the things that happen. A well-written story.

Wonderful Characters !! At one time, the Selig Finding-a-Soul-Mate-Match Services used to be the top matchmaking agency around, but Mitzi Selig’s upcoming schedule showed only 3 appointments for the entire week! Maybe she needed to forget the face-to-face approach and think about using the internet for her business? As she discussed it with Connie, her friend who joined her for a power walk, they heard a breaking news story. The previous day, the International Space Station had been struck and severely damaged by debris where rescue was supposedly impossible. Now they updated the story to report the crew had been rescued and was returning home – the how and when part of the story, however, was classified. Captain Jax, from Planet Talzor, was a warrior who came to Earth to find women for 6 warriors, and perhaps for himself – although he was not impressed by the soft, weak, and fragile Earth females. In the last century, his planet’s own women had somehow become unable to have children and they had not discovered the reason yet. He was ordered to work through the Earth’s best spiritual matchmaker to find the right soul mates for the men. He was also told to use this trip as leisure time to avoid a fierce Kreelnoid bounty hunter, Druk, who was hunting him. Since Jax had saved the Space Station, the Earth military was happy to help out. As Mitzi left the coffee shop where she had met with a client, two men in black grabbed her and put her in an SUV, reporting to someone that they had her! She felt the sting of a needle and everything went black around her. She awoke in a room, no phone or internet service, and dressed in a nightshirt! A woman’s voice told her this was a matter of national security, but she found that hard to believe. Regardless, she was physically threatened when she refused to work with the aliens so she reluctantly agreed to help them. She only needed to find 6 soul mates – Captain Jax had decided not to be part of the matchmaking group. He was a warrior. To die in battle was honorable; to die of a broken heart was not acceptable. Jax was extremely attractive and Mitzi asked him if that was his “real” appearance. She told him she had expected him to be gray or green and he calmly said was describing the reptilians but he was a humanoid Talzorian. He took her on board the landed spaceship and she met Tal-900, a very advanced AI that looked like a blue human. (He will probably become the reader’s favorite character!) Unfortunately for Jax, something about Mitzi brought forth the empathic ability he inherited from his mother’s Empath line. It affected his behavior somewhat and he wasn’t pleased. When he lay down in his bed that night, he could not get Mitzi’s brown eyes and defiant lips out of his mind until he finally drifted off to sleep. Director Coleson Tate, the one responsible for threatening and manhandling Mitzi, ordered her into a debriefing when she returned from the ship. He wanted her to wear a watch which recorded a video of everything around her – she refused. She would not compromise the trust of her clients, even alien ones. So instead, he commanded her to get Jenkins onto the ship, determined to get a look at the alien technology he might be able to steal or compromise. What would be the fate of this mission? There was apparently far more at stake than finding soul mates for the aliens. What a crazy fun story – I loved it! Mitzi is such a snarky, funny woman and is absolutely

This story really kept me on my toes. It was more than alien meets human woman and they fall in love. Mitzi did her job, and we got to follow the process of what would happen in a normal situation for a woman in her shoes. There was enough of the science to make it more of a story. I loved Mitzi’s grandmother and her advice. And Tal was a great side kick for both Jax and Mitzi. He was the perfect humor without even trying. I enjoyed being able to read the adventure with a side of romance thrown in.
