About the Author

Tatty Hennessy is an award-winning playwright, dramaturg and director. She is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme. Previous plays include F Off (National Youth Theatre, Udderbelly); A Hundred Words for Snow (Trafalgar Studios); The Snow Queen (Theatre N16) and All That Lives (Ovalhouse).

Rosa Hesmondhalgh is a writer and actor from Yorkshire. Shortly after graduating from LAMDA in 2017 she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. During treatment, she started a blog from her hospital bed called Madame Ovary, that she started to turn into a one-woman play after she went into remission. Madame Ovary was first performed at the Pleasance, Edinburgh, in 2019, where she won the VAULT Pick of the Pleasance Award. Madame Ovary was first performed at the Pleasance, Pleasance Award. Madame Ovary is touring the UK in 2020.

Charlotte Chimuanya trained with National Youth Theatre on the Epic Stages course, and continued her training with a scholarship to study in America on the Shakespeare Academy REP course. She originally performed Second Home as a solo show.

Acting credits include Macbeth (UK tour); Hear Me Now (Tamasha); Imaam Imraan/Twelfth Night (National Youth Theatre); Rockstar (Lyric Hammersmith) and Safari/WTTE (The North Wall).

Isabel Dixon is a playwright from the South West, now based in London. She trained on the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, Lyric Hammersmith Writers Group, and Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab and Alumni Groups. She was shortlisted for the Old Vic 12 in 2018 and 2019, and was the recipient of the 2019 OffWestEnd.com Adopt a Playwright Award. Previous credits include The Plough (SLAM); Frankenstein (Old Red Lion and The Space); The Spectacular Starlit Circus (Watermill Theatre’s Federation Project); Troll (The Space). Other work has been performed, read and/or developed at theatres including the Old Vic, Young Vic, the Arcola, Rich Mix and BAFTA. She also works as a dramaturg, facilitator and script reader, and co-founded female-led theatre company Burn Bright Theatre in 2015.
