About the Author

Archibald Thomas Robertson (1863–1934) foi um pregador e erudito do Novo Testamento. Estou no Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, em Louisvilee (KY), onde se tornou professor por quase meio século. Atuou na fundação da Aliança Batista Mundial, em 1900. Seu livro mais conhecido é Word Pictures in the New Testament, considerado uma referência ainda hoje. Deixou também uma gramática grega ainda usada (Grammar of the Greek New Testament in Light of Historical Research). Ao todo, publicou 45 livros. Era genro do conhecido pregador John Albert Broadus. Entre seus livros, estão: Syllabus for New Testament Greek Syntax (1900). Epochs in the Life of Jesus: A Study of Development and Struggle in the Messiah's Work.
