Jean Mattson views inspirational writing as a God given talent through which she desires to be a blessing and encouragement to her readers. She loves the countryside where she received inspiration for her poems. She is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Illinois, and a graduate of McLennen Community College in Waco, Texas. She is a member of the Volunteer Voice Network of the Voice of the Martyrs Organization based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She has traveled to Honduras, China, Laos and Vietnam. She has retired from her career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She lives in her country home with her devoted husband. They have five adult children and four grand-children.
