I grew up in Jacksonville Florida. When I was 20 I moved to Tulsa Oklahoma for a few years and then returned to Jacksonville. I went to high school at Terry Parker and College at Florida State College or Jacksonville. Writing may be my passion/hobby but I do work in the medical field and I love it. In school English and Reading/Literacy were my worst subjects. I started writing because I was bored and it soon turned into a relaxing time for me. I write about dreams I have had or crazy thoughts going through my head. Music inspires me as do the books I read. I mainly write teen or young adult fantasy and sci-fi books but do have a more adult murder mystery out as well. You can search for my stories under Melissa Stern or M. Stern.
