D. Jeffrey Ostling is a publisher author of short fiction and full-length non-fiction, and has written, produced and directed dramatic works for independent television. He has been assistant director of the Summer Writers' Conference at New York University, and assistant producer of Readers Almanac when it aired on National Public Radio. Portrait of Deadly Excess is his debut novel.
