About the Author

Christina Karalekas is an early-childhood educator. Born and raised in Astoria, New York and Huntington, Long Island, she earned her Bachelor’s at Iona College, and Master’s at Fordham University. She currently serves as an Instructional Coach in New York City. Christina strongly believes that creating a foundation in self-help skills at a young age, creates opportunities for children to conquer everyday difficult moments and big transitions, both in and out of the classroom. Children carry these tools with them throughout their life, even into adulthood. Using our power of choice, we can overcome any obstacle. Contact her at: ckteach1234@gmail.com
