About the Author

About The Author
Garth Ennis has been writing comics for twenty years, initially for British titles like 2000 AD and Crisis, then for various American publishers. As well as PREACHER, his credits include HELLBLAZER, HITMAN, WAR STORY, ADVENTURES IN THE RIFLE BRIGADE, KEV, BATTLER BRITTON, The Boys, Battlefields, Dan Dare, 303, The Chronicles of Wormwood, Crossed, Streets of Glory, Dicks, The Punisher, Fury and The Pro. Originally hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, he now resides in New York City with his wife, Ruth.

Steve Dillon began his professional comics career at the age of 16 with a story in Marvel UK’s Hulk Weekly, and he hasn’t stopped working since. After helping to fill the pages of 2000 AD and Warrior throughout the 1980s, he joined with fellow artist Brett Ewins in 1988 to launch Deadline, a monthly explosion of comics genius that ran for seven years.
In 1992 Dillon was tapped to illustrate a run on HELLBLAZER written by Garth Ennis, and three years later the two creators unleashed PREACHER on an unsuspecting world. Since then Dillon has contributed work to such titles as The Punisher, Supreme Power: Nighthawk, Bullseye: Greatest Hits and Wolverine: Origins. Eschewing international celebrity, he lives a quiet life with his family in Luton.
