Sentenced to life on Mars, working long hours in the tunnels beneath the surface, his only constant in life being the harsh reverberation of his own breathing within his helmet, Travis spends each day focusing on his family back on Earth. Travis, as well as the rest of his elite team of soldiers, kept isolated and despised by the majority of the Martian Security Officers, motivate themselves with the understanding that at least what they're doing has purpose. But when a distorted broadcast from Earth shows cities overrun with reptilian humanoid creatures, giant cracks forming across the planet, Travis will stop at nothing to return home and save his family.
