Deborah Allwright has become a star of the picture book world following the publication of the bestselling The Night Pirates. She has been shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award, the Booktrust Awards, and has been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal three times. Deborah works in a studio in Islington, stopping only to attend designer clothes sales, and to do a spot of DJing at music festivals.
