Overview

Nik Turner's 1994 release, Prophets of Time, once again features supporting performances by Helios Creed. Although Turner's work explores electronica and Helios Creed's of the same time period shows more grunge and industrial influences, both artists share a tendency toward science fiction themes, as exemplified by cuts like the rhythmically echoing, percussive "Strontium 90," "Lunar Sea," and "Cybernetic Love." Fans of space rock are likely to take to this album, as well as other Turner releases like Space Ritual and Past or Furture. ~ Murrday Fisher
