Quentin McFury - The Last Defender
One September day, everyone disappeared...

Everyone except gawky, geeky Quentin McFury. When he fell asleep in English class, Quentin never thought he'd wake up with drool on his desk and no one else on Earth.

In search of answers, the teen will steal a spaceship, fall for a snarky purple girl, and make friends with a strange robot who denies he's a robot. Together, they will fight through a universe Quentin never knew existed to rescue his people. But will he find his fellow humans before a group of mysterious pursuers catch him first?

Find out in the first book of the epic QUENTIN MCFURY series.

Praise for QUENTIN MCFURY – THE LAST DEFENDER:

"The best and only way to describe Quentin McFury: He's sort of like if Douglas Adams and Nick Hornby had a love child and it was up to that kid to save the universe. I fell in love with Quentin as he bumbled his way through the galaxy. And I'll be honest, he broke my heart a little along the way."

About the Author

Patrick T. Gorman has been writing since he had hair. Born in Nebraska, he left for Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California, where he received a BA from their Theatre School and a Masters from their esteemed Professional Writing Program. While at USC, he began his playwriting career by premiering three plays in one year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at age 23. Since then his plays performed to acclaim around the world. After years of being a playwright, he became a screenwriter, selling scripts to such companies as Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox. After working as a playwright and then a screenwriter, he’s now become a proper book author with the new QUENTIN MCFURY series and the upcoming NORMAL REGULAR HUMAN. Patrick’s work has been called “unfailingly imaginative” by Variety, “quick-witted and pithy” by the London Stage, and “extremely funny” by STAR WARS creator George Lucas.

Patrick lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife and two kids and plans on writing and making up stories forever. (Unless he could be a Time Lord and then he’d totally be a Time Lord. Or a space pirate.)
