RAGGEDY ANN and ANDY'S Ragged Rampage
A fictional family saga twists through the effects sibling rivalry and bullying have upon the family heirlooms--an old set of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Originally, Annabelle was a sweet child playing with Raggedy Ann but her brother's taunting and challenging triggers a wave of her degeneration into a possessed maniac; Raggedy Ann suddenly blows up into thousands of times original size and begins a destructive gait from Kentucky through Texas ultimately making it to New York City where she meets up with Raggedy Andy who has done the same. Raggedy Ann does not mean to hurt anybody but due to her shear size and flopping people about from her bib to her braids to the ground some hundred feet below--people incidentally die: Annabelle's brother Andrew goes into shock that his childish bullying held such a terrible afflict upon his sister . The ragdolls leave the Chattingham family because they want to get away from the fighting but in their escape their destruction is so much worse: they trample through football games and tea parties and by the time they have made it to New York City, it takes a SWAT team and a mayor with a megaphone to subdue them: it is in this context structured as a screenplay but is the first in a series of four which may make their way to novel form as well.
