Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers features a group of fun, flirty, and emotional friends who gather each summer at their Cape Cod cottages. They're sassy, flawed, and so easy to relate to, you'll be begging to enter their circle of friends!

Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole is the sweet edition of New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Read, Write, Love. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

Bestselling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends twelve hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller -- that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the heart-warming afternoon sparks an emotional and unexpectedly sweet ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

A fun beginning. Great expectations for a great series. If you enjoy fun, witty, clean romance with just a little sizzle you'll enjoy this one! A great short fast read. Kurt's plans for quiet are interrupted when he has to rescue Leanna and her dog out of the sea! What follows is a sweet and fun romance with a sweet happy ending. What was interesting to me is this is the re-write of a previously written edition that was steamy and contained language. I am glad to have been given the opportunity to read this edition. I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I received a complimentary copy from Tasty Tours.

Addison Cole has written a marvelous love story! Leanna and Kurt have such different personalities, but they are so remarkable together. They accept each others flaws and differences. When they met, their chemistry & passion was simply undeniable. I would recommend this novel to anyone looking to be encapsulated by a phenomenal love story.

"Addison Cole is the sweet alter ego of New York Times and USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster. " As soon as I read this statement in the book blurb of Read, Write, Love at Seaside, I knew I had to read this book because believe it or not I like my romances sweet with plenty of heart in them. Also the title had me intrigued already with the very gorgeous cover making me stop to checkout the blurb. Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole has oodles of sweetness and a big dose of heartfelt emotions in it with enough teasing and entertainment to keep a reader's interest. Here we meet Kurt Remington, a bestselling author of thrillers who lives to write and who believes in having order in everything in his life. Leanna Bray is a free spirited woman who is as disorganised as Kurt is organised in his daily life. But right from the first meeting they click. But each is staying in this small town of Cape Cod just for the Summer. Can their connection withstand the test of time and their insecurities? As you know, I enjoy Melissa Foster's stories but with her sweet alter ego, Addison Cole she has gone several steps ahead in endearing herself to me. I absolutely loved this book where there is no harsh language, no explicit intimate scenes and still just the right amount of teasing glimpses to give the story the push that authors take when including sexual scenes in them. I loved how the author proves that she is capable of writing both steamy and sweet stories with equal ease. The plot is beautifully conceived and executed. The pace is maintained and I stayed glued till the very end. The character development is the highlight of this story. I loved the contrast between Kurt and Leanna's characters with their poles apart personalities and yet the similarity in their basic nature. The romance is exciting, heartwarming and the chemistry sensual. It is adorable how these two complement each other and I got some serious relationship goals from them. Leanna's friends are a fun group and I am eagerly waiting to read their own stories. It was such a pleasant feeling to meet the various crossover characters from some of the previous books that I have read by Melissa Foster. All in all, Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole is a perfect beach read with wholesome chemistry without any explicit intimate scenes, heartwarming romance, many memorable moments, a crisp story that takes us on a rich emotional journey and a friendships that make us want to go catch up with our friends. A story that connected with many of my own insecurities and then inspired me to go take risks, I loved each second spent reading this book and give Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole 4.5 stars out of 5. Recommended to romance fiction lovers, I hope to read lots more from the author and wish her the very best.

Addison Cole is the ultimate definition of sweetness when it comes to romance! Kurt and Leanna are such opposites. He is super neat and focused on a clear directive in life. Leanna is an adventurous soul with a bit of whimsy in the way she approaches life. There is quite a lot to be said about how opposites attract and if you were to look it up, you'd find Kurt and Leanna's picture! Kurt heads to the Cape with the purpose of finding time to write and meet the deadline for his latest thriller novel. His life centers around those deadlines and making everyone happy by fulfilling what everyone else expects of him. Leanna comes bursting into his life, preventing him from being able to concentrate on meeting those deadlines. She is loud, boisterous and lives life right in the moment. The Cape is the perfect place to help bring her free-spirit ways back down to Earth so she can finally concentrate on a career that she loves - making jam/jelly! With Kurt's structured lifestyle, one would think that he would run as far away from Leanna as possible when he realizes how different she is; however, their love story turns up the heat at the Cape without being explicit. The pair manages to balance themselves out but will they be able to carry the relationship beyond the Summer? Addison Cole weaves a group of characters together that I can't wait to get a read on about in the future! They are very supportive, respectful, and prove that love goes beyond the bedroom with respect, dedication, and friendship! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Kurt Remington is a thriller writer who spends all of his time writing. He's hyper organized, neat and loves his quiet. Leanna Bray is a free spirit who is currently making and selling jam at the flea market. She's messy, can't control her dog and doesn't have her life in order. When Kurt rescues them from the ocean during a summer storm he's annoyed by the interruption but intrigued by Leanna. We all know opposites attract, but can opposites fall in love and have a relationship? I adore both Kurt and Leanna, and Leanna's friends are an amazing group of women! They love their summers together and are the best friends a girl could have. Kurt's family is wonderful and warm, and I can't wait to read more about Leanna's friends and Kurt's family! This is a fairly clean romance novel. It has innuendo and some foreplay, but there are no major steamy scenes. That's all done behind closed doors (or closed chapters!). It is a very sweet and fun read! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

This book is the clean version of Read, Write, Love by Melissa Foster a.k.a. Addison Cole. "Sweet with Heat" describes this perfectly. Leanna is such a fun person. She's like a silly little hippie type girl who lives pretty care-free and happy. She doesn't have much direction in her life yet, as she hasn't found something to be truly passionate about. Kurt has found his passion and is her complete opposite in every way. Together they were awkward and adorable. He added a little structure to her life, and she took down some of the structure in him. It was funny to watch. The ARC of Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

After a rescue attempt of herself and her sweet dog, how could Leanna not fall for the annoyed Kurt. Leanna is a free spirit who is trying to find herself while making and selling jams at the local flea market. Kurt is an organized and dedicated thriller author with a looming deadline. The term opposites attract is seen in action, when we see that Leanna and Kurt complement each other, providing each other with the focus that they both needed to accomplish their own things. This is also a lesson about being comfortable and truly happy in your own skin because your authentic self will always attract the partner meant for you. *An advance copy of this book was provided to me for review purposes only, all opinions expressed are my own*

This is the first Addison Cole book I read and I absolutely LOVED it! I am a huge fan of sweet and romantic stories and this one really hit the spot. If you like stories where opposites attract then you are going to LOVE Read, Write, Love at Seaside. In this book you will meet Kurt and Leanna. They are total opposites which makes them falling for each other absolutely perfect. This is however a story about a summer romance. We all know that these type of romances just like the season end. Have Kurt and Leanna fallen for each other so deeply that their love lasts beyond Summer? You will have to read this book to find out.

What happens when two opposites are thrown together by the winds of fate? Sparks fly. Like magnets, the sweet, free spirited Leanna and the focused, structured Kurt find themselves inexplicably drawn to each other. Is it true love or just a summer fling? Perfect for a sunny day, you'll feel like you're at the beach no matter where you are with this sweet summer romance.

Read, Write, Love at Seaside (Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers Book 1) by Addison Cole Imagine a fun group of girls who vacation at the Cape every summer. Now, take one of these artsy, fortuitous females and throw in a serious writer who likes his privacy. You have the recipe for fireworks, detonation and lots and lots of romance. For Kurt Remington, his life was just right. He wrote for 12 hours a day, kept his routine the same and rarely liked to wonder out of his seaside escape. But when he met free-spririt Leana Bray, his schedule was thrown off, he was swept away by her vivacious personality and her dog’s rambunctious ways. Leana Bray is a woman who has been lucky in life. She has a trust fund that she never touches, she has worked hard for what she has, but now she would like a fulfilling career so that she can be more relaxed and continent with her life. With her amazing group of girlfriends and Kurt, Leanna decides to embrace the more crazy culinary side of herself and starts her own jam making business. Will their love survive a long distance relationship? At the end of the summer, he is to return to the stuffy confines of New York and she was made an offer of a lifetime. The only problem, she has to remain on the Cape. “Addison Cole is the sweet alter ego of New York Times and USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster. She writes humorous and emotional sweet contemporary romance. Her books do not include explicit sex scenes or harsh language.”

Read, Write, Love at Seaside is an adorable, sweet read. The settings are well described and create a vivid image for the reader. The characters tug at the heart and it's great to see them grow. Kurt Remington is successful writer, who is well organized and likes structure. At first, Kurt comes off as bit of an uptight neat-freak. Throughout the story, he loosen ups and learns more about himself and what he wants in life. Leanna Bray is free-spirited and a little awkward at times. Seeing her and her business grow throughout the story is wonderful. Together, the characters have great chemistry and an instant connection. They balance each other out very well, even with them starting out as complete opposites. The Seaside Girls, who are Leanna's friends, made this story stand out even more with their different personalities and their humor. I can't wait for the next one! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours as an ARC. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

4.5 stars Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole was a sweet and romantic read. The storyline was entertaining all throughout the book, once I started reading I didn't want to put it down. Kurt and Leanna were wonderful engaging characters that I easily connected with. I loved their banter, I loved their passion and watching them fall in love brought out all the feels. These two opposites were perfect for each other and totally belonged together. If you're looking for a sweet, fun and romantic summer read you will love Read, Write, Love at Seaside by Addison Cole.

Bestselling Author Melissa Foster has tweaked some of her steamy books into a milder, sweet edition under her new alter ego Addison Cole. This one is the milder version of Melissa's original READ, WRITE, LOVE novel. It's a sexy, sweet connection and brings an exciting summer fling to life! Great characters & a really fun story! Bestselling author Kurt Remington lives a strict and regimented life. His writing is what he lives and breathes for, and he doesn't let anything get in it's way. He's spending the summer at his cottage in Wellfleet, Massachusetts finishing up his current novel when he's introduced to the whirlwind that is Leanna Bray in a wild and unpredictable way! Leanna Bray kind of lives life by the seat of her pants! She flits from one place and one job to another trying to find what fulfills her in life and her current foray is a jam and jellies business! She stumbles upon Kurt and her wild and free attitude intrigues him. He shouldn't want this type of disruption ... but want her he does! Will a summer fling be just what they both need or will she be too much a distraction to him? And when they consider the future, what does it look like for her?

Absolutely loved this book. I am a huge Melissa Foster fan but was a bit on edge to see if she could take on a new nom de plume and still hit it out of the park. Addison Cole is going to become one of my favorite authors! Kurt and Leanna are so relate-able. I can picture myself in either character - the workaholic or the free spirit. I think I was drawn to the two of them because this is what my current relationship is like. I am the free spirit and he is the workaholic. We manage to make it work and Addison Cole found a way for Kurt and Leanna to make it work.

Wow, what a sweet romance this is! Kurt Remington is swoon worthy, organized and a writer. Leanna Bray is cute, searching for a career and doesn't plan a thing. But a chance meeting between the two leads to a whirlwind romance. I loved these characters. Each has their own quirks but the relationship unfolds as they learn more about themselves and each other. I love the innocence of this Addison Cole romance.

Dreaming at Seaside, the second in this series, was just as fabulous as Read, Write, Love at Seaside! This time the story focuses on the wild, outspoken Bella and a new police officer in town named Caden. Bella has decided to quit her teaching job in Connecticut and move to the Cape full time, hopefully heading up a new work study project with the local high school. Caden and his 15-year-old son Evan have just moved to the cape from Boston as Caden tries to recover from the death of his partner. Bella has sworn off relationships but can't deny the attraction to Caden - but Caden doesn't want a one night stand, he wants a relationship. Bella and Caden's story was wonderful, as was the chemistry between them. The writing was fantastic and this novel is an absolute page-turner from beginning to end. I love that the Sweet with heat series brings passion and chemistry into the stories without going overboard on the sexy scenes and language, just proving that leaving some things up to the imagination does not take away from the power of the story! I am officially hooked on this series and cannot wait to read book 3!

This is the absolutely perfect beach/summer read (even more so since it is set in the Cape ... on the Cape?  Whatever - there is sand involved.)  Cole brings the right amount of fun in the sun, humor with heart, and characters that capture your attention.   Kurt is fantastic from the beginning.  He's a little OCD and likes to be alone while he writes.  And pretty much all he does is write, but when happy-go-lucky Leanna comes crashing into his life she quickly stirs things up.  Like the awesome guy he is, though, he takes it in stride - there is no angst or drama over her bubbliness to his stoicism.  Instead she helps to bring him out of his shell, reminding him that there is more to life than his books, and that he needs to get out to enjoy it.   And he complements her as well.  She's been drifting for years but she seems to have found a calling in her jam business.  Unfortunately she doesn't have a clue what it means to really go after this as a career, but with some help from her friends and the support that Kurt gives her she starts to figure things out.   This is a super sweet romance, with just enough heat to keep your attention but without ever getting too explicit.  (I haven't read this series by Foster, but I'm definitely curious if Kurt was a little less refined in the original  :) )  The story is very smooth and moves along at a good pace - very realistic with Kurt and Leanna getting to know each other, figuring out whether they fit together, and (of course) falling in love.  There's a ton of friends introduced here so it looks like we'll have plenty of stories to keep us entertained ... and I'm looking forward to every one! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

Kurt Remington has a goal to be the best thriller writer there is. Leanna Bray is a free spirit with no boundaries. When Kurt saves Leanna and her rebel pooch Pepper from drowning in the ocean, it is perfect order meets chaos. Kurt was basically a recluse who did nothing but write novels. Leanna was still trying to find her niche, with her latest endeavor being jelly and jam making. How could Kurt let this untamed free spirit into his life? And can Leanna’s chaotic persona be tamed? People like Leanna are always fun to be around, and draw you in with that type of personality. I loved these two characters together. It was so fun watching them acclimate to each other’s surroundings. The Seaside girls themselves were perfect mimics of Leanna too. No wonder they were all best of friends. That’s a community I would love to have grown up in.

Kurt Remington is a very meticulous and well organised man, he likes thing in order and his writing work schedule to flow uninterrupted, that is until he has to rescue a woman from drowning after she went into the sea to get her dog! That woman is Leanna Bray, and she couldn't be more opposite to Kurt if she tried, she is a free spirited, disorganised and gorgeous mess. From that moment on Kurt's life changes as he finds it hard to sit and write all day without his mind wandering to thoughts of Leanna. Leanna stays in Seaside during the summer and being such a free spirit has had several jobs, but this season she is currently making and selling jam whether or not she wants it to be a full time job or not is yet to be seen, until see met Kurt that is. For both the chemistry is definitely there despite being so different and this is a such a great sweet, hot romance without the gratuitous sex ( for those that don't like it) - and you know what it works brilliantly, you are given enough of a hint of and it the story flows seamlessly. So how does a work-aholic and a free spirit mix? Rather well it would seem, and this story just goes to show how much opposites really do attract, and I loved how they both accepted each other for who they were and moved mountains to be with each other. Sweet with Heat is a brilliant concept for the well loved Melissa Foster books and I highly recommend reading this one.

Warmth and light abound within an intoxicating romance. The loner and the optimist may be an odd combination, but the healing qualities they bring out in one another helps them find common ground. Ms. Cole proves that romance can be sweetly seductive with a hint of heat and an abundance of heart.

This book reminds me so much of the love story of my husband and I. When you meet the perfect person for you, you just know. It doesn't matter how long you've been together you just click. Neither Kurt or Leanna were looking for love when they found each other. Fate had other ideas in store for them though. They were leading their own lives focusing on their careers. Kurt is a writer that writes thrillers. Leanna makes jellies and jams. They meet in the summer on the Cape. Unfortunately summertime does come to an end. Do they stay together? Do they just have a summer fling? You'll have to read it for yourself to find out. This is a sweet romance that hints at some hot bedroom activity between Kurt and Leanna but you don't actually read about them. It leaves you wanting more in that aspect which makes it a great book. I read this book in a day! I received this book for free in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions in this review are 100% my own.
