About the Author

Loretta Giacoletto divides her time between the St. Louis Metropolitan area and Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks where she writes fiction and essays for her blog Loretta on Life while her husband Dominic cruises the waters for bass and crappie. More Mediterranean romantic mishaps, mischief and detecting from the Savino sisters. The author's knowledge of the area, its culture and traditions shines through. I didn't know much about what happened during WW2 in this part of Italy and found it really interesting to see how events at that time still affect people alive today.
