About the Author

About the Author

Elle Hansen spent her formative romantic years in a devastatingly romantic pen-pal relationship with a boy she met at summer camp. When she wasn’t busy putting her angstiest love-related feelings on paper, she kept busy watching way too many black-and-white romances on AMC, stealing her mother’s incredibly delicious historical romance novels, and creating sappy love mix tapes. Romance writing was pretty much her destiny. She does like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain! But she also likes chocolate shakes and snuggling under the covers. I read Elle Hansen's book "Forever in the Millionaire's Grasp" and I really enjoyed it. I picked this one up on Valentine's Day and read it last night and this morning. It was so freaking cute! I loved Henry, and I loved how he learned more about the island he was destined to rule while he fell in love with Micala. I also really love that the backstabbing evil woman in this book is the heroine in the next book! I've never really seen that done before, but I will definitely pick it up! Really love this author's style and the way her books flow...this was another really satisfying romance!

This is kind of a fairy tale type book. I figured I'd take a chance on it because I love anything to do with royals. This isn't based on any kind of real life royalty. The island in this book is made up, but it sounds like Ireland or England. Micala is this cute little assistant in the palace, and Henry is the bad boy prince who basically wants nothing to do with ruling his kingdom of living under his father's rules. They fall in love and she helps him see the beauty of the place he was born to rule. Really fun, cute story! I loved the character back and forth, and I loved how smart and strong Micala was! Not a damsel in distress, and I like that.

I'm a huge sucker for the Cinderella-type stories, and this one does it right! Micala is a girl who works hard and perseveres through an awful childhood to become the strong, accomplished woman she winds up being. Prince Henry left his island home years before because he and his father could never agree. Now he's back and has agreed to help his dad, basically because he wants a chance to put the moves on Micala, but she's having none of it! Their back and forth is great, and their love story is sweet, hot, and so satisfying! Definitely picking up anything and everything by this author!! She knows how to tell a great romance!
