The Vegetable Village Adventures are a series of children’s fun-filled adventure stories where the Vegetable children, who live in Vegetable Village, go on adventures around Woodland Farm and Sturton le Steeple, meeting new friends, having fun, and enjoying being children. The stories have been written for children to use their creative imagination and to escape from reality into a world of fantasy, enjoying some adventures. The second book in the series is Robbie the Space Robot, which is about the Vegetable children doing a space project at school. They create a spaceship and space robot called Robbie. Tango makes a wish; the spaceship and Robbie come alive and take the children to space to learn all about space before returning to school.

About the Author

I was born in Lincoln Lincolnshire and lived with my Mother, Father and sister Emma, in the heart of Nottinghamshire on the family farm. Emma and I spent many weekends in the holidays using our imagination and creating adventures around the farm, entertaining ourselves and having fun, when not riding our ponies. I spent six years as a border at Harrogate Ladies College, where I found my creative imagination, as being such an old fashioned strict school, we had little time to watch television and certainly didn’t have WIFI or any electric appliances, and so we had to create our own entertainment. After leaving school I pursued my career in the catering industry learning to cook and becoming a catering manager, whilst at college I sat qualifications which allowed me to work in any catering sector. I enjoyed ten years working in various catering establishments before moving into the recruitment industry, I have been in the Recruitment Industry for seventeen years, and have thoroughly enjoyed helping people find work. Now I am also enjoying being a published children’s author for The Vegetable Village Adventures, writing fun adventure stories for children to enjoy reading.
