This is very short. Including title page, copyrights, contents and story it's only seventeen pages. Not having read Royally Matched I think perhaps this could have served as an epilogue. It could be the intro to a new book, but there's no indication that's the case. There are two other book excerpts included, both of which sound intriguing.

Great A nice novella about of parents raising royal children and figuring out how their oldest is just like her great grandmother

4 stars — This was cute, but I ended up feeling disappointed by the length…and part of that is because the copy from Amazon (which might not have been the case with the one newsletter subscribers received) ends at 55%, and following that there are previews of other books by Emma Chase. Which is awesome, but because I didn’t know that, I reached the end and I was like “wait what?” since I thought there was still twice as much book left to read. I think if I’d known that ahead of time, it might not have been quite as jarring and thus disappointing. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m always going to want these things to be longer, but it was a lot about expectations vs reality, you know? Henry and Sarah were still adorable, I loved seeing Nicholas and Olivia too. I enjoyed knowing how their lives had mapped out 20 years down the line, at least a little bit. I was amused by Henry’s attempts to talk to his eldest daughter and try to mitigate her sense of entitlement… I was a bit disappointed not knowing how that was going to end up, but perhaps that just means there may be a spin-off series for the next generation sometime in the future? I told my hubby about Jane and the conversation with Henry, and he thought there should be another book a further 20 years down the line and it’s a dystopian because Jane didn’t learn and grow…I told him he should tell Ms. Chase when we see her at our next book event. So yeah, fun, Henry and Sarah still awesome, just short.

Royally Raised is a cute and funny short (too short IMO) story in the Royally series. RR jumps twenty years into the future where we find Henry and Sarah blissfully happy. Henry seems to have met his match when he realizes his eldest daughter is more like him than he ever noticed before.

This was cute, don't get me wrong, but it was definitely not what I was expecting. What I thought it was going to be was one of Henry and Sarah's kids finding their happily ever after. It ended up being more of an epilogue to Royally Matched, set 20 years later. Jane is certainly in need of a wakeup call, and I kindof need that story ASAP.
