About the Author

Simon Jollands is a former international TV producer and lifelong sailing enthusiast who has filmed many major sailing events plus written and directed sea safety films for the RNLI. He is also the co-founder of mobile app publisher The Other Hat that specialises in producing nautical reference apps.

Rupert Holmes
is a prolific and in-demand author and expert on dinghy sailing, yacht cruising and boat building as well as maintenance. He has contributed to the Sailing Bible, the Boat Maintenance Bible, the Boat Repair Bible and the Dinghy Bible, all published by Adlard Coles Nautical.
A lifelong sailing enthusiast, Simon Jollands has filmed many major sailing events as well as producing and directing several sea safety films for the RNLI. He is the co-founder of app developer Safe Skipper Apps, which specialises in producing nautical reference apps, and is author of The Boatyard Book, Safe Skipper, Reeds Lights, Shapes and Buoyage Handbook and Go Sailing, all published by Adlard Coles.
