I have read each book in the series and this is one of the best. I love the characters, especially Nickie. I am sad to see this series end, but what a great finish. Duncan and Nickie go to Peru to hopefully end the Human trafficking ring there are many surprises along the way. It is fast paced and keeps you wanting more. This is a series I would recommend to anyone who likes to read romantic suspense, you will not be disappointed! I hope R.T. Wolfe will decide to write more books with Duncan and Nickie, it is hard to say goodbye to two of my favorite characters! Great job R.T. Wolfe, can’t wait to read your next book!

I've read this series from the beginning and I've loved each book. This one is probably my favorite and I didn't want to put it down. The action takes us to Peru as Nickie and Duncan work to finally dismantle the child trafficking ring and save the children. There are even some surprises at the end that readers of the series will love. RT Wolfe blends romance and suspense perfectly and I recommend this book to anyone that loves romantic suspense. While this can be read as a standalone I think to really enjoy it it would be best read as part of the series. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. Trude

SAVAGE APPLAUSE FOR THIS SERIES!!! I was both dying to get this book, and dreading reading it, as I knew it was the last in the Nickie Savage Series. Who would want to say goodbye to the people that R.T. Wolfe has written into life? But I have to say, this is the most satisfying end to a series that I've ever read. It was all just right. The kind of right that has you saying, "Yes," in your head as you read. Of course it had all of the wonderful characters from her earlier work, and the beautiful writing, as well. Lines like, when a friend talked about him losing everything in the fire, Duncan thinking his everything was coming around the corner in the form of Nickie. The usual, magical chemistry between Duncan and Nickie was present, along with the heart-stopping action and suspense. Everything was just as it should be. So instead of feeling disappointed when I read that last page, I felt a warm closure. I was glad I got to read the end of Nickie and Duncan's story. And, thankfully, while there will be no more Nickie Savage books gracing my shelves, there will be more Island Secret books to come. I loved the first in this R.T. Wolfe series and am as anxious for the next as I was for the Savage series. Keep writing, R.T., and I'll keep reading. :)

The Nickie Savage series is one of the best I've read! I love her character! She's strong and hides her vulnerability. Duncan is the perfect hero. He knows Nickie like nobody else does and loves her completely and unconditionally. He has dedicated himself to helping her in her fight against child sex traffickers. I've loved reading each of the Nickie Savage books and am sorry to see the series end. I heartily recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense with some pulse pounding moments! Awh, the last book in the Nickie Savage series......... As an avid reader of R.T. Wolfe's books, it is a pleasure to write a review for this novel. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Ms. Wolfe astounds her readers once again. She writes an interesting, fast moving and plausible novel about Nickie Savage and Duncan Reed's mission to disband a trafficking organization established by none other than her biological mother. Working alongside FBI agents, this plot takes Nickie and Duncan to Peru; as the leader of the organization has left the United States to set up camp in South America. I especially enjoyed how Ms. Wolfe engaged the support of both Nickie and Duncan's families in an effort to demobilize the trafficking organization. Ms. Wolfe is highly know for taking a real life issue and developing a believable scenario. She presents her stories with interrelated sequencing and events.

I've read the series from the beginning and this is my least favorite. It seems the author is rehashing the same plot over and over and it's getting boring, the Peru section was rediculous. I'll read the next book but if it's more of the same I'm done.
