JC Carr was born into a large family in Saint Louis, Missouri. After completing her history degree at Framingham State College in Massachusetts, her career took her from Boston back to her hometown. Through a variety of jobs in nonprofit organizations and the automotive industry, and now teaching English as a Second Language, she followed a path of serving and helping people. Sparked by her love for reading and writing JC began writing poetry in the midnineties. Her current writing projects include a screenplay and song lyrics that are being recorded with the collaboration of friends. A novel is planned for the future. JC resides in Saint Louis where she enjoys her twenty nieces and nephews.
