About the Author

Carla accepted Christ at the early age of 13 on the street corner of her home in Jamaica at a revival church outreach. She was baptized at age 23 in the Gulf of Paria, Chaguaramas, Trinidad. Years later, while serving as the church liaison officer and Sunday school director at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Reidsville, North Carolina, she was ordained missionary leader. Carla has always felt that there is more to life than simply surviving. She went back to digging deeper into the Bible, seeking more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and became an Evangelist at Mount Olive Bible Institute and Seminary. Her mission is to touch the lives of all people with the Gospel and the gift of communication that God gave her. Carla has faced many adversities during her journey with Christ. From the challenges of being a single parent to homelessness and so many battles that might seem unnatural to the unbelieving. Carla managed to stay focused on what she describes as her true north, Jesus Christ and was able to ride out and overcome all of the enemy's challenges.
Today, Carla is a Doctoral student of performance psychology and has developed a new strategy and technique known as the Elevated Method, to help and motivate individuals to take hold of their reality and achieve their dream or desire. Carla believes that you can only achieve true potential through self-discovery and self-realization. Carla has a true talent for teaching and equipping individuals with the necessary skills and tools to tap into their hidden potentials and discover new ones.
Carla uses her Elevated Method, life experiences, and the word of God as a technique that allows for optimum performance in self-improvement, self-building, self-love, and other fundamentals that are needed for individual growth.
She has coined these phrases as part of her philosophy:
• The best thing is not always right, but the right thing is always best.
• Jesus is the secret ingredient that has been known to make all life's recipes become top-shelf gourmet delights.
