The Prescience: A Young Adult Fantasy, is the fifth book in the Seventh Dimension Series that combines contemporary, historical, and fantasy elements into a Christian "coming-of-age" story.

When bombs fall on Jerusalem, Shale and Daniel rescue an orphan and return to the first century. Amid supernatural tribulation, they attempt to unravel the mysterious disappearance of Daniel's father and the goal of the New World Order. When multiple realities collide, God reveals once again time is an illusion until the appointed times.

About the Author

When not writing books, Lorilyn provides closed captioning for television. She adopted her two daughters from Nepal and Vietnam as a single mother and lives in Florida with many rescued cats.
Lorilyn has won over thirty awards for the Seventh Dimension Series. She graduated Magma Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences/humanities that included an emphasis in Biblical history with on-site study in Israel. She received her Masters
in Creative Writing from Perelandra College.

With religious themes mixed with coming of age, the novel is definitely very different and the author seems to be in her element here. I enjoyed the time travel, how the two main characters fought the odds together and came out victorious at the end.

As a reader, you are rewarded with subtle intricacies which add alternative perspectives and interesting ideas. Good versus evil in the most primal sense. Angels of good against angels of evil, each attempting to turn the tide in their favour.

The chapters are short and concise, making it easy to pick up and put down, that is if you can tear yourself away from the adventure. I read Lorilyn Roberts' book in a single sitting, finding it engaging, action-packed, and fascinating.
