Shadows, Secrets, and Swords: A tantalizing tale of sword and sorcery
Falcon had seen many odd things during his life as a warrior and mercenary, but none of those compared to the strange experiences that began in a quiet port city and continued in a quest for treasure.

A robed form slowly emerged from the shadows. The moonlight did not penetrate the folds of the hood and the flowing robe obscured the shape of the body. However, the voice emanating from the hood clearly identified the figure as a woman.

"Fear me not, sir. I need your help."

"Step closer, woman. I don't discuss matters with shadows."

The woman stepped further into the moonlight and pushed back her hood. Raven-hued hair cascaded around a lovely face before flowing into the folds of her robe. Her blue eyes gleamed in the faint light as her full lips formed words.

"Is this better?" she asked.

"Yes, much better," Falcon admitted. "What do you seek from me?"

"I saw you in the tavern tonight, and I knew that a man of your strength and courage could be my salvation."
