Guy Saint Laurent is too busy cursing his sister for roping him into taking over Eli’s Date Shark business to prepare himself for the slew of bizarre women he’s about to get involved with. This is the last venture he intended to take on, but somehow he’s just become Chicago’s newest, most reluctant Date Shark.
On top of dealing with bug-toting, mothering, obsessive women, Guy faces personal tragedy that changes his outlook on life, whether he wants it to or not. He’s not sure what it is about Charlotte Brooks that draws him in, but getting her off his mind after a brief encounter proves impossible.
As Charlotte tries to help Guy deal with his loss, he begins to get the impression she’s hiding something from him. He knows he could simply walk away, continue as he always has, but he suspects whatever she’s hiding, she won’t be able to face it alone.
Charlotte is the one woman who can capture his attention, but she may also be the one woman capable of breaking him.

About the Author
DelSheree Gladden was one of those shy, quiet kids who spent more time reading than talking. Literally. She didn't speak a single word for the first three months of preschool, but she had already taught herself to read. Her fascination with reading led to many hours spent in the library and bookstores, and eventually to writing. She wrote her first novel when she was sixteen years old, but spent ten years rewriting and perfecting it before having it published. Native to New Mexico, DelSheree and her husband spent several years in Colorado for college and work before moving back home to be near family again. Their two children love having their seventeen cousins close by. When not writing, you can find DelSheree reading, painting, sewing and trying not to get bitten by small children in her work as a dental hygienist. DelSheree is the author of the Escaping Fate Series, Twin Souls Saga, The Destroyer Trilogy, The Aerling Series, Someone Wicked This Way Comes Series, and Date Shark Series.

I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review... First of all this book is not written perfectly, just because it is an ARC. The author, DelSheree Gladden, wanted us to see how we felt about it. Even though it had a VERY FEW mistakes it in it, it did not take away from any of the story. Shark out of Water is Guy Saint Laurent story. He took Eli's place in the Date Shark dating business because in Date Shark, Eli promised to give it up when he met Leila. Those two are brought back in Shark out of Water. Guy is a French man that starts out as a jerk in the beginning. He wants his name pronounced "Gee Sanlarent" He likes to have and tries to teach people French because he would rather converse in French. He is known as a "player" Guy has a heart that only a few people have seen. He is psychiatrist. He is close to a few women that he calls friends. They all have tried to melt his icy demeanor. Carmody (who is a close friend) says to him "One of these days, your're finally going to find someone who's worth giving up something for" (pg 15. Shark out of Water. Gladden, DelSheree) How very true that statement is for Guy. Guy has a chance encounter with a woman in the hospital he works at - Charlotte Brooks. The story that develops between Guy and Charlotte is just sweet and touching. Charlotte meet Guy as she was coming out a doctor's office. Guy thought she worked out of the hospital until he heard that she was a patient of a another doctor that worked at the hospital. Shark Out of Water is just a sweet story. At one point I had to Facebook message DelSheree Gladden and tell her thanks for making me cry. This story shows that love can change anyone. Guy turns from a player to a devoted man. It ended with a cliffhanger that had me in tears. But according to Mrs. Gladden we may have to wait a little while for the next one because she is currently working on another story. She is an awesome writer and can tell a great story. The Date Shark series is the best that I have read in clean romance.
