Overview

Two total strangers fall in love when they are thrust into each others arms, by either fate or chance, in the midst of the apocalypse. Wendy's unshakable faith has been tested throughout her life, now she has to see if her unique belief in God can stand the weight of the end of days. Torrance's deep sense of self hatred defined who he was his whole existence, but his passion for Wendy has made him find a reason to love life even though the world they knew has ended. The two relive the harrowing journey they took through a perilous world that now belongs exclusively to the living dead as they try to better understand not only what has happened, but each other. About the Author

Peter Lewis is currently a pre-school teacher who loves writing about anything other than himself. He went to Hofstra University and majored in Film and Philosophy. While he was studying there, he came up with the idea for Shelter from The Storm and wrote it as a screenplay. His roommate at the time was a Creative Writing major who told him that the idea would be much stronger as a book. It took Peter finishing the screen play to realize that he was right, and thus began the on again off again process of writing the book began. He never suffers from writers block unless he is obligated to write a blurb about himself in the third person.
