If you couldn't get tickets -- or couldn't afford them -- to hear Il Divo perform on Barbra Streisand's 2006 tour, don't worry: The photogenic foursome return to a CD player near you with Siempre, their fourth album of multilingual pop-operatic romance. Fans of Carlos, David, Sebastien, and Urs will get exactly what they've come to expect from the quartet: four gorgeous voices that blend together to equal more than the sum of their parts. But Siempre, largely Latin in flavor, also marks a real breakthrough for the group. Their initial success may have been manufactured by musical mastermind Simon Cowell, but after singing together for a few years, they sound more comfortable, confident, and dynamic than ever. With their unique combination of voices, they can't help but make every song their own -- whether it's a translation of the Moody Blues' "Nights in White Satin" (Notte di Luce) or of Bryan Adams's "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" (Un Regalo Que Te Dio La Vida), or even the evergreen "Somewhere" from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. If there's any doubt that four voices can be more seductive than one, compare their version of "Caruso" with Josh Groban's or Andrea Bocelli's. But fans will need no convincing that the gentlemen of Il Divo have more than earned their place at the top of the crossover pops.

They have amazing voices and perform well together. Most songs are in a foreign language so you need to not be bothered by this. I'm not. I just love the music.

I totaly dissagree with the previous rewiew by Laura P.! This album does have original music that was written for them. I like the upbeat tempo of La Vida Sin Amor. Can't stop dancing to that one. Their voices appear to be maturing together as a group. Emotion packed and well worth your time and money.

You gotta hand it to Simon Cowell. It's a stroke of marketing genius to combine boy band appeal with classical vocal stylings and wrap it all up in a shiny pop package. But enough is enough with the overly sentimental songs, the super-dramatic vocal deliverly and the sappy production. This Il Divo release delivers more of the same, plus some truly ridiculous covers like the weeping "Nights in White Satin" abomination. Give America a break, Il Divo, before you release another maudlin set of tunes. You owe us.

I was a fan of Il Divo but this CD is a disappointment. First it's too short and second , the choice of song is not so original like the first album. I don't think it's worth since there 's a lot of new talents out there with more creativity and originality.

I would like more of their music to be in English, but I still enjoy listening to the harmony and choice of songs. Very talented quartet and I look forward to more from them in the future.

After waiting all year for another cd, I find the new Siempre to be a bit disappointing. There is nothing "exciting' about this music. Just four great singers singing other peoples' songs. Someone should be writing something original for Il Divo. While the album is okay, it should be great.'re slippimg.

I love the way the men start out softly or singly and then all join in with such power. Some of their songs bring instant tears.

Il Divo's new album is very beautiful. As a fan I think it's their best yet. La Vida sin Amor (an Il Divo original) is a breakthrough, as it's the first up tempo song they have ever recorded and it's without a doubt their best track to date.

We've been il Divo fans from the start but I tell you, this is their best work to date. The voices are getting stronger with each album and the rhythm of this one really catches you! Woah - watch out for those high notes!

I love this CD even through I don't understand what their language in the songs. They sing beautifully.

I must confess. When I purchased Il Divo's last CD, I thought they'd lost it. Their thrid release was mediocre and flat. This new release, Siempre, is back on par with their best work. The selections are just right and the sound will give you goosebumps! This is an outstanding recording and I highly recommend it.
