The Silver Springs Settlers Series includes three titles set in the late 1800s, during and after the Civil War. Each novel features different events that are unique to American history. In Book 1, Building Fences, Mending Hearts (approx. 175 pages), we travel the Oregon Trail in a covered wagon and claim land under President Lincoln's Homestead Act. Climb aboard the transcontinental railroad during the heart wrenching orphan train period in Book 2, The Right Choice (approx. 162 pages).
