About the Author

JON HOWARD HALL, writer of historical fiction, has a keen interest in civil war history that includes battlefields, cemeteries, antebellum homes, and eighteenth century architecture. He enjoys creating his stories while researching events that happened during that time, and weaving the actual facts into a story that comes straight out of his imagination. Hall attended Auburn University, and is married with two daughters and five grandchildren. He has homes in both St. Clair and Perry County, where he spends as much time as possible while reading, writing, and relaxing in Marion, Alabama. Jon Howard Hall is the present owner of Simplicity which he writes about in his fifth novel. Photo Courtesy of Gale Kirkpatrick Portrait Design Birmingham, Alabama
