I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. For a story based upon royalty, I found the characters (yes, all of them) to be down-to-earth, sweet, thoughtful, sexy…I could go on but want to finish the review. Prince George Dagmar meets (once again) Penny Novak, his sister-in-law’s sister. They’ve met before, of course, but this time George has a decision to make under conditions that are constraining. Vague? Yes, but you will enjoy reading about the setting and issues of this story so I won’t tell you anything that might be spoilers. George ends up in New York City, where Penny lives -- right next door. From Penny, George learns how to be “real” and from George, Penny learns to feel (in my humble opinion). I really loved how they fought for one another, had some scrap-ups where George learned about himself and the “real” world, and broke down the barriers for each other. I really, really liked this story. The humor was great, too – yeah, lots of stick-up-the-butt references! Story was funny, poignant, sexy, and a crazy ride. I highly recommend.

I received an ARC copy of this book in return for an honest review. I have just finished reading 'Some Like it Easy' & LOVED it! 'Some Like it Easy' is book 5 of Heather's "Going Royal" series, although I haven't read the first 4 books, I was able to understand everything happening in this book. I have added the rest of the series to my TBR & look forward to reading the rest when I get a chance. I loved the instant connection George & Penny have together, meeting on a family holiday, Penny stumbles into George's room & offers her advice as to which college he should change too in the US. He quickly becomes her friend, then lover... the ease in which they talk, hang out, discuss everything... she brings out the best in him & he brings out the best in her. Even though I just finished George & Penny's story I want to know more about their future. I found myself quickly immersed within the story, & I couldn't put the book down, until the end.

Commitment phobia  Penny is a free living kind of gal.  He sister is married to royalty.  And her sister’s brother-in-law (George) is now her new neighbor in her apartment and going to the same university.  They become friends and Penny helps George in picking his classes and in general ion growing up.  Put when Penny’s roommate goes home for an emergency George gives Penny some comfort that leads to more.  Penny is fine with friends with benefits but George fall in love with her.  And so Penny starts to run, even if it’s just mentally.  This is a great HEA story that is well written and very entertaining to read.

Charming take on the "Royals" romance theme. Bad boy George, third in line to the throne at the moment, gets his trust funds and credit cards frozen and put on an allowance when he can't be bothered to attend his classes. Given three choices of new schools by his older brother, Armand, George consults Penny, Anna's sister, on which one she would choose. She's bummed out at attending an Andraste family skiing gathering. Penny is a "free spirit" studying art in NY and doesn't like rules. Dismissing his first two choices, she advises on NY, and George (along with his security team) ends up as her neighbor. Let the fun begin! George proves to be capable, funny and hot, too much for Penny to resist. Some Like It Easy is a humorous, fluid, well-written story with characters you will fall in love with. I think it was the humor and the ease of George and Penny's relationship that makes this story stand out for me. Although it is number 5 in the Going Royal series, I have not read the previous ones and had no trouble at all. It is definitely stand-alone, but since I enjoyed it so very much I am going to have to take a trip through the other four stories now. (Gifted an ARC for independent review)

FANTASTIC! It’s tough being the baby of the family. In George’s case he is the spare to the spare heir. His brothers make him feel like he is unneeded; not on purpose but because he is the youngest and has no life plan. In Penny’s case she rebels because she isn’t perfect like her elder siblings. So is it any wonder that these two should be perfect for each other? That is if they get out their own way. Love for these two is anything but easy. Heather Long has done a terrific job of bringing Penny and George to life. They may be my favorite couple yet. Though this book is part of a series it can be read stand alone.

SOME LIKE IT EASY (GOING ROYAL #5) – HEATHER LONG  Heather Long is a masterful storyteller whether in a contemporary romance such as this or if it’s in her shifter stories.  George Dagmar the youngest of the three Dagmar children is a privileged spoilt brat of a Prince. When he is kicked out of his college is surprised when his elder brother the Grand Duke Armand cuts off his finances. Forced to choose between the only three universities that will take him after, generous donation from his family. He settles for the University of New York.  George’s sister-in-law Penny also attends the same university and she is asked by her sister to keep an eye on our spoilt Prince.  Penny with the help of Mallory her roommate/ Best friend take pity on George and share their food, alcohol and coffee with him and spend a lot of their time with him. Penny and Georges friendship soon moves from friendship to romance.  Along the way of our story George grows up and Penny actually matures, with the normal trials and tribulations affect their relationship.  I read this without the benefit of the other books which was fine but for maximum enjoyment I would recommend that you read the Going Royal series in order. This is my honest review after receiving the ARC for one. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves a good romance story.
