Chastity Newberry had more than enough on her plate with recovering from a ski accident. Just when she thought her life was finally improving, she received the news from hell. She'd been chosen as the winner in the Annual Dancing Beneath the Stars contest at her new job. No way was she going to go, especially since she'd have to dance with Cameron Barron.
Cameron Barron was ticked off to begin with. Relocating to Detroit wasn't something he'd ever planned on doing, but here he was, cleaning up someone else's mess. He didn't think his life could possibly get any worse, until his evil secretary opened her mouth and ruined what was left of his sanity. What was she thinking, trying to rope him into a ridiculous dance contest where he, as acting CEO, would be the prize? Who the hell comes up with this crap? Someone else could stand in for him, or the annual event was going to be short the CEO.
But fate, along with his meddling secretary, had different plans. Bad plans. As far as Cameron was concerned, it shouldn't have been such a big surprise when things blew up in their faces. Now, he was being blackmailed into fixing it all. In order to meet the crazy demands of his secretary, he'd have to apologize to Chastity. However, she wouldn't let him get near her.
No problem. Cameron was used to a good challenge. He'd just create a disguise to solve this dilemma. Presto! The new persona could apologize on his behalf, then he could get the hell out of Detroit. Cameron's plan was rock solid. Brilliant even!
