Sometimes

Sometimes, life can feel overwhelming. Sometimes, we cling to things that we should let go of. And sometimes, those who are closest to us are the ones who hurt us the most. Despite what others may tell us, during these times, the best thing we can do is talk.

In this honest and poignant story, Joann Howeth reminds us of what can happen behind closed doors and, in doing so, encourages kids to tell their own stories to ensure they get the support they need. A must-have for every library, classroom and therapist's office, this book will reassure struggling children that they are not alone and help them find a safe and healthy outlet for their troubles.

About the Author

Born and raised in Big Sky Country, Joann Howeth has always found ways to nurture her passion for writing. After penning her first work of fiction at the age of 12, she went on to study English literature and obtain her teaching certificate, but never ended up in the classroom. Instead, she spent two decades working as a jewelry designer and goldsmith. But Joann never stopped writing during this time; on the contrary, she graduated from The Institute for Children's Literature, and is now a proud member of the Montana chapter of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Sometimes is a deeply personal addition to her collection of children's stories. Learn more on her website: joannhoweth.com.
