About the Author

Geetha Patel was born and educated in South India. She graduated with B.A. & B.Ed. degrees from the University of Mysore. She was married to a Zoroastrian and lived in the United States for five years. She immigrated to Canada, with her family, in 1987. After upgrading her qualifications, and obtaining her Ontario Teachers� certificate, she worked for the Toronto Catholic District School Board, for twenty-one years.
