About the Author

Amber Lanier Nagle has always been drawn to books. When she was a freckled six year old, she often crawled under her parents' dining room table and read Dr. Seuss books to a captive audience of disheveled dolls and thread bare stuffed animals. At some point in her childhood, her appetite for reading evolved into the desire to write. She comes from a long line of writers, poets, and the finest storytellers you will ever hear, and so she believes that writing is in her blood.

For most of her life, writing was just a pastime. Then in 2006, after working for eighteen years as an engineer, she reinvented herself as a freelance writer. Today, she specializes in works of nonfiction. Her articles have appeared in Grit, Mother Earth News, Alive, Atlanta Life, Points North, American Fitness, Chatter, and many other magazines.

Her first eBook, "Southern Exposure," is a collection of personal essays and stories focusing on memories, relationships, and unique observations from a lifetime in Georgia.

In the last year, she's concentrated her efforts on "Project Keepsake," a collection of short stories written by friends and family members about their keepsakes and mementos. For more information about the project, visit www.ProjectKeepsake.com .

She is a graduate of both Georgia Institute of Technology and Mercer University and is a member of the Chattanooga Writers Guild and the Georgia Writers Association.
