Four years ago, Natalie fell head over heals in love with Javier. She didn't care that he was wealthy, that he lived-in a castle or that he was a member of the Spanish aristocracy. She just loved HIM!
But forces intervened and Natalie was banished. She tried to contact Javier, to let him know that they'd conceived a child, but no word was forthcoming. So after their heated affair, where Natalie lost her heart, she moved back to Lisdeer, Virginia, finished college and gave birth to her son, Alejandro. She found a teaching job and moved on with her life.
Four years later, Javier came back into her life. He wanted Natalie, but on different terms. Natalie refused, furious with him for abandoning her as he had. But she soon found out that Javier hadn't known about their child.
