About the Author

Michael Morley lives in the U.K. and has had two bestselling thrillers there, Spider and Viper. He is also the producer and director of some of the hardest-hitting crime shows on British television including The Cook Report, Murder in Mind, The Hunt for Baby Abbie, and A Shred of Evidence. These shows have not only broken boundaries but have also won several major awards.

He has three sons and lives a hundred miles north of London in the heart of the English Countryside with his family, eleven ducks, a few squirrels, a flock of Canada geese, and a fat heron. Spree is his first serialized novel.

Spree started out as a great story, with just a little too much on the distinction between spree and serial. Then, a little past the half way point, it hit me between the eyes with a development I was not prepared for and couldn't accept. from that point on I was so emotionally involved I could not stop reading until I got to the end. Morley uses a number of techniques to keep the reader in the story without spilling any beans. The result is one of the best detective thrillers I have read. Definitely read this book, but be prepared for the unexpected.

oh my...this was so good! i will try my best to keep this review as vague as i can so as not to add any spoilers... two bad-ass agents, Angie and Jake, both who have had rough childhoods, make their lives better by choosing a lifestyle that others can admire because of their ability to see things most can not and sort through the sick behaviors of serial killers and sprees. i loved how there was more than one crime happening at the same time and the way the author was able to twist and turn the reader so that we were constantly thinking, "oh, i know who did it..." no....you don't. this book made me literally cry several times and that is NOT suppose to happen in a crime novel...at least none that i have read before. :) i think that during the saddest part of this book, i was about as emotionally drained as one can be from reading. i really enjoyed this from the beginning to the end and hope to read more from him.

What a great story. I literally could not put it down. The characters are richly drawn and I was enthralled by them. Can't wait to read another of his novels.

The book was so predictable from the beginning. I get so tired of the hero and heroine being the only smart people, they know everything and everybody else is stupid! And they are more beautiful and/or handsome than anyone. It just gets old. The book was just okay. Bottom line

Just finished reading the combined book (1-5). Shocking surprise in the book and definitely a page turner. It could have been a few pages shorter, but all and all a very enjoyable book.

3:00.
Schools out.
Chattering kids boarding the bus, teachers making sure there is no mischeif, the students trying to sit next to their best friends before somebody else does.
An usually-good time.
But no, obviously not today.
The old school bus dputtured out smoke as the driver stepped on the pedal. The bus surged forward and out of the school parkway it went.
Now by this time, silent talk was mandatory for the students in the bus. Claudia and Drew sat besides each other in the second-to-back row in the bus.
"Have you found the secret code for Racer City 3 yet? Drew asked, pulling out his PS Vita. Claudia shook her head somberly. She returned to the gome screen on her Vita. "Have you? What is it?"
"Yes, I have found it. It's---"
"638303190." Interrupted Barry.
Drew glared at him.
But before Claudia could even enter it on her game, the truch which was driving behind them the entire time, tailgating, rammed into the back of the bus. Screams and frantic yells filled the air. Claudia got up from her seat. Drew and Barry attemped to get out, but before they could, a man with a Yankees hat and sunglasses along with a black trenchcoat barged in from the destroydd back enterance with a knife.
A knife.
All the students rushed out the back.
Barry frantically tried to get through the exit of the bus, which was crowded with nervous classmates.
But before he could step forward, an apelike hand grabbed his neck and pulled him back.
Barry gasped for air as the man's grip tightened. He reached for his knife and shoved it into Barry's chest.
Barry lifelessly dropped to the ground.

HOW IS IT? MURRRDER...HE'S COMING FOR YOU...THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU!! LAWL THREE POSITIVE AND I CONTINUE. CHARACTER APPS ACCEPTED!!!
~&#9788&#10008
