At the age of 10 Shataye experienced a devastating loss her mother was killed by her husband. Life was hard for Shataye and her sister but they managed to survive. Once again life disappointed Shataye when her sister was killed in a murder suicide in 2005. Through her faith in God she decided to write a book to show how Gods grace and mercy will prevail over any situation. Still Standing will give you hope in the midst of your storm.

About the Author

S.Ferguson was born in Jacksonville Ga. She was raised by her grandparents after her mother was killed. She developed a passion for reading and writing. There she discovered a world of imagination through reading. As a child she dreamed of becoming a writer. After her sister was killed in a murder suicide, she decided to write a book in hopes of helping others heal as well.
