For a while now I've felt like I've been stuck in a rut. I didn't know what I was doing with my life, nor where I was headed. I needed direction. 'Stop Saying You're Fine' gave me that direction. I was blown away by Mel's words, and I felt like this book spoke perfectly to my situation. I have the ability now to stop ignoring things...to stop saying that things will work itself out, and that everything will end up okay. I know I have the confidence to make my own destiny, and I have that confidence thanks to this book. It was well written and succinct, and I know anyone who needs to fix their life compass will love it too.

I love self help books and I've read quite a few and this one is very good.There are ofcourse the tried and true writting down goals pursue your passion types of advice but what I like about this book was it allowed for some randomness. I also like the MAP approach.Having your goal but zooming out on it so you can get a good overall picture of it. The book contains excercises,action plans,examples and case study. One thing I loved was,if you have an idea act within 5 seconds,write it down,tell someone,open that book,stop at that store etc. Earth shattering,no.If your looking for a " feel good" book that will inspire you to take action- like a friend sitting next to you at the kitchen table,this book is for you . Getting clarity is a good way to describe what you get out of this book!!
