Stories to be read out loud

Why, then, Stories to be read 'out loud'?

Simply because reading out loud gives us a good space to take in and enjoy whatever we happen to be reading and, for many it just simply feels good. Cast your mind back and remember how comforting it was when someone read you a bedtime story when you were young.

So, as the author says, make some 'me' time, tuck yourself up in bed or simply find yourself a quiet corner, relax - and then enjoy the stories.

About the Author

Bill Peters lives in Somerset with his wife Janice and his Border Collie, Tara.

He has used words to make a living for much of his adult life by giving lectures and talks in such diverse places as The USA, The Far East, Europe and, of course, in his homeland, the United Kingdom.

He likes nothing more than to put pen to paper and to create different worlds for the reader to retreat into - no matter how brief their visit may be.

He enjoys roaming the highways and byeways of Exmoor and he is a keen longbow archer - hence the story, "I wonder if it will change anything" in his book of short stories "Stories to be read out loud".

He is a qualified archery coach and spends quite a lot of time ensuring that (fairly) small children (and some adults) focus on what they should be doing and not on doing silly things with the lethal weapon called the bow and arrow.
