This is the first book by Jo Raven that I have had the pleasure of reading. As I started reading this book I thought it was going to be a sweet romance, but boy was I wrong. It did take several chapters for the storyline to pick up but once it did it never slowed down, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the remainder of the book. This book is an erotic romance suspense with lots of secrets and I loved it. I can’t wait to see where Ms Raven takes the storyline. I hope Hawk and Rook both get their own book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and series. Ms Raven is most definitely on my TBR list.

Storm is the new best seller from Jo Raven, We have 2 really strong characters in Raylin and Storm. Each one has a past they are running from but thankfully they aren't running away from each other. Sins of the Father is personally a great way to describe this, Raylin and Storm both seem to be trouble and running do to past mistakes the Fathers have made. Raylin has been on the run for a few years, this last time she ran, she was finally happy where she was at, she had a room mate she really liked which is Megan tying this to a spin off of Rafe, and a cat and happiness. Storm is running from friends who think he is feeling paranoid about people being after him, so Storm takes off and will not tell anyone where he is, his life depends on it. overall it was a great read, some parts could have slowed down and happen in a more "real life" way, but then again thats why we read to escape life for awhile and get lost in the book. This book has everything you would expect from Jo Raven, sexy leading man, girl who needs to be saved, and the great sex and love that bring them together. The book is written in 2 parts and from both points of view, Jo has really set this new series off with a bang, and I can't wait to see what the next book has to offer.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, betrayal, and heartbreak. This is Raylin and Storm’s story. Raylin is on the run. When she comes across Storm she is attracted to him but knows she must stay away in order to keep him out of danger. The more she wants to run from Storm the closer he wants her to be. Can he keep her safe from his past? With people after them both how can they really hide? When secrets are revealed will they be able to stay together or will their pasts both try to take them out. Can Storm and Raylin work together to solve the mystery of his family’s deaths? Will it be who they expected? Can Storm protect Raylin? Will these two be able to stay together? Or will she run after he learns of her past? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
