I liked the way Scott O'dell brought to life the story of Sacagawea and her experiences with Lewis and Clark. But it was also kind of sad to read, because she led such a hard life. But over all I recommend it for its historical information.

I'm a 25 year old law student and am now buying this book for a younger sister. I hated to read until I read this book. What can I say, it started my love for education. It's a great book with an accurate dipiction of Native Americans.

I was to read this book for my social studies extra credit. At first when I saw this book I thought I was just going to be reading another boring book. The reason I read this was because once I read the first few pages I just could not put it down. The hardships and the triumphs of Sacagewea along with the Captains and their crew was unbeievably captivating. I absoulutley recommend this book to anybody would like to embark on an adventure that you don't want to forget.

This book was read to me as a fifth grade student, probably around the same time it came out. A woman with a beautiful speaking voice read it aloud to my class. It had such an impact on me at the time and was one of the best stories I had ever heard. I have been trying to remember the title of it for the past 14 years because I believe it to be a novel of romance and adventure that all young people should experience.

This book is the greatest, I have read this book many times. It has been the best book I have ever read in my living years!! It has alot of action and sadness also. A young lady living, and surving the things that she disliked. Adventures, and fun. I liked this book, and glad to be one of whom who read this.

This was a rather good book, but a little uninteresting. If you are thinking of buying this book as a gift don't. It is not a pleasure reading, more of a school reading book.
