About the Author

Jules Pechey is a retired History and English teacher. She was HOD of History at Brescia House and later at St Stithians Girls’ Preparatory. She is currently doing a Masters degree in Education and Culture.
Ruth Everson is a teacher of English with thirty-nine years of experience in the classroom. She is also a published poet and writer. Ruth recently wrote the well-received study guide for the Grade 12 novel, The Theory of Flight by Siphiwe Gloria Ndlovu. She combines her teaching and subject knowledge with her writer’s heart to produce guides that are clear and easily understandable.
