Overview

The three flash fiction pieces in SUSPICIOUSLY SURREPTITIOUS STORIES all center around crimes, but all three have different tones. In "The Doorbell Rings" we get to know Steve, who is married to Beth, and feel the tension of their relationship until it comes to a head. "The Rat" is a story of mob boss Gladys and her interrogation of Jack, as she tries to find out what went wrong on their job. And finally, "No Honor Among Thieves" is the story of E.G. and his partner in crime, as they case an art gallery on a night with some funny business taking place.
