Overview

Swedish bitters has everything that a crime story needs, intriguing plot, lively characters, well followed plot and a logical, but unexpected denouement. In the small iconic Croatian city of Varaždin , unexplained deaths start to happen. One winter night, on a frozen pathway of a park, a dead elderly lady was found. Police investigation reveals that it was murder. That is only the beginning of the bloody events which will shake the city. Two police inspectors are working on this case. During the investigation, there are many revealed secrets of suspected persons, but the main culprit is not revealed until the last moment.
Ines Hrain is a croatian writer at a rise and is an author of five novels of which some were translated to slovenian and english. Her style is direct and funny, and her novels are read in one go.
