About the Author

Jack Lynch, a Block Island summer resident for over thirty years, is a writer, photographer, fisherman, lawyer. He credits his Jesuit education at Fordham College and Georgetown Law School for much of what he has accomplished. Jack's first book, Fishing Up the Moon, is about Block Island fishing. In 2010 he and his daughter Meg Lynch Doyle published Wetherbee's Block Island, Paintings From the 1940s. Jack teaches intellectual property courses at law schools in Washington, DC, San Francisco, Dublin, Prague and Bilbao, Spain. When not on Block Island or traveling, Jack and his wife Helen spend time in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia and Ross, California.
