Nancy A. Schenck: Nancy Schenck has over twenty-one years of publishing experience and has worked as a copywriter and editor. After losing her best dog friend, Happy, in a tragic event when she was fifteen, Schenck descended into the life of an out-of-control drug addict until she almost died of an overdose in 1982. She has been in recovery since then and found the strength to write her first book, Tails of Recovery, as part of the grieving process for her pet she lost over forty years ago.
Schenck lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her partner, Tony, and their "baby," Sophie, a Labrador mix they rescued in 2006.
