When Layla awakens tied down to a slab of stone and watching a sunset that should not exist, all she remembers is running. She can recall nothing beyond the cold ground at her feet and the sheer terror of being captured and brought wherever she was. Only the brief appearance of a beautiful man by her side comforts her, but he soon disappears and she finds herself handed over to a group of strange women who tell her that she has been chosen by the youngest prince of a planet she never even knew existed. She is to become his nurturer, a woman enslaved and expected to attend to his every whim.
Will whatever waits for her in her role as a nurturer be worth all of the memories that have disappeared from her mind? Or will she have a chance to escape and return to the world she doesn't remember?

Too short I like complete books
This book was short and it lacked alot. Plot was ok but better books out there. Was a waste of my time.
3.5 stars for can not get rest of the series on Barnes and Nobles website. It was free and about 58 nook pages. Some of the writing was kind of choppy for me, not a smooth flow. Like missing some details, depth to the characters. It was an okay story, some conflict, it seemed Layla excepted her role as servant very easily.****
